With a new group of Beginners starting at riversMEET in Autumn 2017 we reintroduced the zipped applique cushion cover workshop and had some great results in the first session
And our 2016 'Beginners' are now officially 'Improvers', and tackling some more complex techniques to extend their repertoire: quilted table mats and patchwork.

Good evening everyone from the UK, I was on a train between Birmingham and Leeds when I started reading user comments about different entertainment platforms mentioned in online communities. I don’t usually follow these discussions, but curiosity made me continue later at home. That is when I opened slots of vegas to understand its structure. I wasn’t looking at features, just how information is presented and how easy it is to move between sections. I clicked through a few pages to test consistency and navigation flow. The experience was simple and predictable, without any confusing elements, and I left with a clear idea of how the interface is arranged.
Sounds like a really nice creative journey — starting with simple cushion covers and now moving into quilting and more advanced stuff is a big upgrade
It’s always cool to see beginners turn into confident makers over time. Sewing classes like this are honestly underrated for how relaxing and rewarding they can be.
Anyway, if you’re into casual fun and exploring different online platforms as well, you can also take a look here: https://q-bet.co.uk/
Great to see beginners getting involved in sewing and producing such creative results so early on. Workshops like these are a fantastic way to build confidence, learn practical skills, and enjoy a relaxing, hands-on activity in a supportive environment. The zipped applique cushion cover project sounds like a perfect introduction to sewing techniques. More details about similar workshops can be found here: chicken road.

During store remodel I looked for cooler with extra shelf to fit more products. I chose https://mcdonaldpaper.com/marchia-ustar48g-48-inch-black-low-profile-open-air-cooler-grab-and-go-with-middle-shelf. On the page they showed dimensions, specs, and warranty clearly. They also listed deals on similar models and delivery help. The cooler was sturdy, lights were bright, and shelves strong. I liked it because it helped organize products better and saved floor space.
