Julie Hollings

 *Beginners and Junior Sewing*

Julie learned to sew from her mum and made all her own clothes when she was a teenager. Like most girls of her generation, sewing was an integral part of Julie's secondary school curriculum, and in due course those skills were put to good use making curtains and soft furnishings for her own home. Working full time halted Julie's sewing committments but when she took early retirement in 2013, she started to attend sewing classes at rivers MEET to update her skills and learn new techniques. Julie started to teach Beginner's Sewing Classes at rivers MEET in 2016 and added junior classes to her repertoire.

In addition to dressmaking and soft furnishings, Julie also does some patchwork and quilting
