Halloween is approaching quickly and what better way to keep your kids (or yourself) entertained if not with some creative craft sessions for this holiday?
We held two kids craft workshops this week at Rivers Meet where we made some fun and gruesome Halloween decorations. Scroll down for a peek at what we did and get inspired!

Toilet Roll Bats
Never knew what to do about the toilet rolls? Well, here's a fun idea: use them to make Halloween bats! It will only take 5 minutes to cut out some black paper wings, shape the ears, glue some googly eyes, and draw the fangs. Halloween doesn't have to be complicated at all!

Pinecone Bats
More bats from our kids workshops! After all they are emblematic for Halloween! This super easy craft can be done in less than 5 minutes. You only need some pinecones, googly eyes, cut-out wings and some thread so you can hang them.

Spooktacular Halloween Jars
We love these jars because they look great with some candles lit inside them. They are sure to make a fantastic impression on your guests or trick-and-treaters. For these spooktacular jars, you'll need: PVA glue, tissue paper, black ribbon and any accessories you want (we used a spider).
What to do: coat the jar in PVA glue and attach the tissue paper all around it (imperfection is key), tie a black ribbon around the jar and decorate with your accessories. Don't forget to drop a candle inside for maximum effect or use autumnal flowers to decorate.

Halloween Windmill
Say 'Trick-or-Treat' and the windmill is done; it's that easy to make one! You'll need: black paper cut into a square, Halloween stickers, PVA glue, a pair of scissors and a long pin.
What to do: draw one horizontal and one vertical line in the middle of square and cut alongside the line towards the centre of the square (stop 1 inch away from the middle); stick as many Halloween decorations as you want on the paper and then every second corner; secure the four corners with a pin and put the pin through a pencil to secure the windmill.

There you go! Four fun but eerie decorations that will make your Halloween spooktacular! And don't forget to check our events page for future workshops and classes.
Happy Halloween!

While browsing late at night in Manchester, I found myself reading a UK discussion thread where users shared experiences with different online platforms. I wasn’t planning to explore anything new, but one mention caught my attention and I decided to take a closer look. That is how I opened golden panda casino and spent some time observing how the interface behaves. I had recently been trying different platforms and wasn’t having much consistency, so I approached this cautiously and focused on navigation rather than anything else. Everything felt easy to follow, and moving between sections didn’t require extra effort. It was a simple exploratory session from my UK perspective, mainly focused on structure and clarity.
A younger sibling shared Book of Dead Slot with me after a really messy breakup, mostly just to stop the overthinking every little detail. One night when I was wide awake for the life of me, I decided to give it a look and was genuinely surprised by how uncomplicated the atmosphere was—not loud or intrusive at all. I poured myself a drink, got comfortable, and finally felt my head settle after weeks of tension. I ended the night having a proper yarn with someone new and everything just flowed. It was exactly the kind of mental reset I needed.
I first came across this platform while reading a UK forum where users were comparing different online entertainment websites and how they structure navigation and game categories. I wasn’t looking for anything specific, just curious how these platforms are organised. What stood out was the simple interface and fast switching between sections without delays. In the middle of exploring I opened Yummy Wins Casino to see how the layout behaves in practice. Everything felt consistent, with clear separation between sections and an easy-to-understand structure.
Hey there. I was reading a blog about responsible gambling and safe casinos to play at. The author listed this site as one of the newer options on the market. I decided to visit and see if the security features were up to par. Nalu Casino has a modern feel with a focus on user safety and data protection. I tried a few crash games to see how they performed. The game crashed early a few times, which set me back a bit. I adjusted my auto-cashout and managed to secure a decent multiplier. It was a relief to walk away with a profit after a shaky start here in the UK.
Hello folks, UK player here. A mate mentioned this platform during a pub night, and I gave it a go later that evening. I found myself spending more time than planned on Spin Million Casino – because the games actually loaded fast and didn't glitch like others I've tried. I had a bit of a losing streak at first, nearly logged off, but then blackjack turned things around for me. It felt balanced, not like I was constantly chasing losses, which I appreciated.
